The violinis a four- string instruments. The violin is a smallest member of the string instruments family.Viola, cello and double bass also belongs to this family.

 The violin is  some times is sometimes called the fiddle. the word may habe originated from the central Lating word vitula and become violin across the Roman language. Vitula means sringed device .this world may also have originated from  the German  fiddle . 

This player is called a violinist of fiddler.  The maker or repairman of therenne  violin is called Luthiyer. 

The violin is said to have been invented in Europe but it is also believed to have been created by king Rawana of Sri Lanka .
