MY COUNTRY

 My country is sri lanka. It is the small island in the indian ocean .This is an agricultural country.most of the people ate ffarmers.

Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte is the capital of sri lanka.world population of my country is about 20 million.they are several communities in sri lanka. They are the sinhalies,the tamils,the mislims and the burgers.

Piduruthalagala is the highest mountain and mahaweli is the is the longest river in sri lanka.we gained independence in 1948.my country is republic today.  Our national anthem is "Sri Lanka matha ". girls official language language of sri lanka sinhala, Tamil and English

 There are many tourist attractions in my country. Waterfalls ,santruaries,botanical gardens in sandy beacha are some of them.I love my country very much
